Liminal
written by Amelia Parenteau directed by Daniella Caggiano Liminal follows the story of Callinda, a young white poet fresh out of liberal arts college. The piece begins as a cliched “millennial struggles to find her place and voice in New York” tale and quickly turns that trope on its head. Soon Callinda is taunted by a Greek Chorus and is forced to confront her role in gentrification, the oppression of the homeless, and the fact that New York City is home to all of these people, not just the backdrop of her own personal Sex and the City.
